FREELegal Resume
A formal one-column resume for legal professionals outside the traditional firm track: in-house counsel, compliance, contracts, legal operations and support.
FREEOne-page A4 preview with brown headings and a single-column layout.
A formal one-column resume for lawyers, with bar admissions and education up front, practice areas listed, and experience written as representative matters with outcomes described by type.
The sample is a mid-level litigation associate moving between firms. Replace it with your own admissions and matters.
Education with honours and journal work stays high for the first several years. Bar admissions with dates, then practice areas, then experience: matters described by type, court or forum, your role and result, without client names. Publications and speaking get a short section. The general Legal Resume covers in-house and legal operations roles; the Paralegal Resume is the support-role layout. Government lawyers may need the Federal Resume format.
Serif type, no color, no columns; this layout follows the Professional Serif Resume design. One page for associates, two for partners. Law students can start from the College Student Resume structure with education first.
