FREENew Grad Nurse Resume
A one-column resume for newly licensed nurses applying to residency programs and first RN positions, built so clinical rotations and a capstone preceptorship fill the page.
FREEThe two-column version of the new grad nurse resume: licence, certifications and clinical skills in a sidebar, rotations and practicum in the wider column.
The sample is a newly licensed RN with a med-surg practicum and CNA experience. Replace it with your own placements.
New nurses have a lot of short items (BLS, ACLS, EHR systems, skills checklists) and few long ones. A sidebar keeps those short items scannable while the practicum and rotations get proper bullets in the main column. If you'd rather keep everything in one flow for a hospital portal, the one-column New Grad Nurse Resume has the same content. Students still completing the program should start with the Nursing Student Resume.
This layout is built with a text structure that parses in the systems hospitals use, but run the plain-text test in the ATS-friendly guide once before applying. Other sidebar designs are under the two-column resume templates, and the experienced Nurse Resume uses the same arrangement.
