FREETwo Column Resume
A neutral two-column layout: contact, skills, languages and education in a left sidebar; summary and experience in the wide column.
FREEA clean A4 layout with a narrow sidebar for contact details, skills and education, a thin vertical divider, and a wide experience column.
The sample is a mid-career professional with a long skills list. Replace it with your own.
Sidebar: contact, skills grouped by type, languages, education, certifications. Main column: summary, experience with results, projects if relevant. Keep the sidebar shorter than the main column so the page doesn't look lopsided. The Two Column Resume is a sibling design; the Classic Two-Column Resume puts the sidebar on the right, and the Minimalist Two-Column Resume narrows it further. Job-specific two-column layouts include the Software Engineer Resume and Nurse Resume.
Built to parse, but keep a single-column copy for strict portals; the ATS-friendly guide has the test. Two-column layouts spill most easily when you add content; the overflow fix guide covers it. Other versions are under two-column resume templates.
