FREEICU Nurse Resume
A resume for critical care nurses, with certifications (CCRN, ACLS) and unit type up front and experience bullets that name the acuity, equipment and outcomes recruiters for ICU roles expect.
FREEA one-column clinical resume with sections for experience, skills, education and certifications. Use the work entries to show units, patient ratios and outcomes.
The sample is a registered nurse with critical care and ICU experience. Replace it with your own units and credentials.
Licence state and number, certifications with expiry dates (BLS, ACLS, PALS, specialty), and the units you've worked. Keep those details clearly labeled so recruiters can find them quickly. In the experience bullets, give the setting, bed count or ratio, and anything measurable: falls reduced, audit scores, preceptor work, charge shifts. Specialty layouts follow this structure: the ICU Nurse Resume, ER Nurse Resume and Travel Nurse Resume. Advanced practice is covered by the Nurse Practitioner Resume.
Most health systems parse resumes before a recruiter opens them, so keep the licence and certification text plain and spell out acronyms once. This template uses a single reading order. For more layouts with that structure, browse the one-column resume templates and check the exported file before applying. New graduates should start with the New Grad Nurse Resume, which gives clinical rotations the space a first job would take.
