FREEData Analyst Resume
A one-column resume for analysts, with a compact tools line (SQL, Python or R, BI platform, spreadsheets) and experience bullets that connect each analysis to the decision it informed.
FREEOne-page US Letter resume preview.
A resume for analysts who build reporting and dashboards for business teams. The tools line names the BI platform, the data sources and the modelling layer; the bullets show adoption and the decisions the reports enabled.
The sample is a BI analyst on Power BI and SQL Server in a retail finance team. Replace it with your own platform and stakeholders.
A dashboard nobody opens isn't an achievement. Write bullets about adoption and effect: 'built the sales performance dashboard in Power BI, now used weekly by 40 regional managers, replacing a 3-day manual Excel process'. Data modelling, semantic layers and governance work belong here too. Name the platform, the SQL dialect and any ETL tools. If your role involves more open-ended analysis, the Data Analyst Resume is the broader layout; if it's about requirements and process rather than data, see the Business Analyst Resume. Pipeline-side work is covered in the Data Engineer Resume.
BI roles sit between IT and the business, so mention the teams you served and the language you used with them. Keep the resume single-column and conservative; many BI roles are in finance and operations departments that prefer the professional resume templates style. For first BI jobs, the Junior Data Analyst Resume shows how to present projects and certifications.
