FREEOne-page A4 preview. Single-column layout using Calibri for the name, headings, and body text.
A resume for engineers in the physical disciplines, with licence (EIT, PE), software and standards in a skills block and project-led experience bullets that give scale, budget and result.
The sample is a mechanical engineer with five years in manufacturing and product design. Replace it with your own discipline.
Name the discipline and industry in the summary, list software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, MATLAB) and standards you work to, and write experience around projects: scale, your role, the technical problem, the result (cost, time, performance, safety). Licences and certifications go near the top. Software and data engineers should use the technology and data examples instead. Related layouts: the Architect Resume for design professions, the Technical Resume for technician and implementation roles, and the Project Manager Resume for engineers moving into delivery.
Single-column, one page under eight years; this layout is one of the ATS resume templates. Engineering students applying for placements should start with the Internship Resume.
