Free Solutions Architect Resume Template

A resume for architects who design systems across teams and talk to both engineers and executives. It gives space to platforms and certifications, but the bullets are about decisions and their business results.

The sample is a cloud solutions architect who moved up from senior engineering and works with enterprise clients. Replace it with your own engagements.

Writing about architecture, not just technology

Architecture bullets should name the problem, the design you chose and why, and what it produced: cost, resilience, time to market, compliance. 'Designed a multi-region active-active setup on AWS for a payments client, meeting a 99.99% SLA and passing PCI audit first time' is the shape. Pre-sales and stakeholder work count too: proposals won, workshops run, standards adopted. Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect, TOGAF) go in their own short section. If your role is closer to hands-on cloud engineering, the Cloud Engineer Resume is the reference; if you still lead implementation, the Senior Software Engineer Resume may be the better balance.

Format for enterprise and consulting readers

Architects often apply to consultancies and large enterprises, both of which prefer a conservative two-page layout. The professional resume templates have single- and two-column options in that register. For consulting-style engagement history, the Consultant Resume shows how client work is grouped.
