FREEStylish Resume Template with Photo
A designed photo resume with a strong header, refined type and careful spacing, for roles where the resume is expected to look as good as the portfolio.
Layouts with a properly placed photo slot, for markets where a headshot is standard practice: much of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, plus roles like hospitality and modelling. The photo sits in the header or sidebar without pushing the content around.

In the US, UK, Canada and Australia, no; employers there often discard photo resumes to avoid bias. In Germany, France, Spain, much of Eastern Europe, the Gulf and most of Asia, a photo is expected. If you're unsure, look at how the employer's own job listings and local competitors present candidates. When you don't need one, the professional resume templates offer the same layouts without the slot.
The Simple Photo Resume and Photo Resume Template are the most neutral. The Professional Resume with Photo suits corporate applications, and the ATS Resume Template with Photo keeps the text structure parser-safe. For a sidebar arrangement, see the Navy Sidebar Resume with Photo and the Two-Column Resume with Photo. The Monochrome Photo Resume, Colorful Resume with Photo and Stylish Resume with Photo are the more designed options.

When you export, check the PDF at full size; the guide to exporting a Google Docs resume as a PDF covers image compression settings that can blur a photo.
A square or 4:5 portrait, at least 400 pixels wide. The placeholders in these templates are sized for that.
Yes. Delete the image and the layout closes up, or switch to the same design's no-photo version.
Images are ignored by parsers, so the text still reads correctly. The ATS photo template is built for that.
