FREENetwork Engineer Resume
A resume for engineers who design and run networks.
FREEOne-page A4 preview. Single-column layout with Arial for the name and headings and Calibri for body text.
A resume for administrators who keep servers, directories and core services running. The skills block covers operating systems, virtualisation, identity, backup, scripting and monitoring, and the bullets are about uptime, migrations and automation.
The sample is a sysadmin managing a hybrid Windows and Linux estate with VMware and Azure AD. Replace it with your own environment.
Sysadmin work is invisible when it goes well, so make the results explicit: uptime percentage, patch compliance, backup success rate, a migration completed without downtime, hours saved through PowerShell or Bash automation. Name the platforms precisely and give certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, CompTIA) their own section. If your work has moved toward cloud and automation pipelines, the DevOps Engineer Resume and Cloud Engineer Resume show that emphasis. Networking-heavy roles are covered by the Network Engineer Resume, and support-heavy ones by the IT Support Specialist Resume.
One page for under eight years, two after that. Keep it single-column; the ATS resume templates are the base this layout follows. For roles that combine administration with security operations, the Cybersecurity Analyst Resume is a useful comparison.
